The party does not appear to have specific policy on this issue.

We have also contacted the party to ask them if they have any policies that are not published in their manifesto or website that relate to this issue. This party has come back to us with the following response:  ‘The Ulster Unionist Party position on abortion, euthanasia, embryo research are all matters of conscience. As such we allow our MPs, and all our other elected representatives, individual free votes on the matter.’

Does the party allow for individual MPs to vote according to their conscience on this area?
